The title is a little cynical perhaps, but this painting is one perspective of how I feel about all the bright shiny new buildings in my home city of Portland (and beyond- I’m looking at you Seattle, Nashville, NYC and…). Despite my cynicism, the painting has a hint of whimsy and would certainly brighten up any wall.
