Night Time in the City

Having grown up in Connecticut, I was just a short train ride away from New York City. Between working there, business trips from the west coast and numerous trips in to see friends and family, it's my home away from home. The densely packed buildings, and plentiful bridges have always captivated my creative attentions, and so these NYC images creep into my art work quite regularly.
The original is acrylic painted on canvas. I use a translucent additive to allow me to layer the paint, creating overlapping colors and textures.
The original canvas has been sold but prints on photo paper are available in limited quantities.
