Turquoise B Plant Shelfie Bookends- (Seconds)
These are part of the slip cast bookend experiment. Each one has minor flaws; the descriptions of the flaws are listed/pictured below. Please review carefully.
All bookends are functional (tested for leaks). Most flaws are cosmetic: glaze defects, tiny cracks, warping. More flaws = bigger discount. Each one is unique, and completely handmade. In fact, these have been handled by more human hands than my wheelthrown bookends! They were slip cast by the team at Mudshark Studios. After they were handed off to my assistant Anna, she spent hours, sanding, glazing, re-glazing, sending photos and making spreadsheets, all to help me deliver a quality rendition of my designs. Ultimately the design was not a good fit for casting at the level of detail I had hoped, but this means a discounted price for you, on perfectly functional pots.
I hope you’ll love them, despite their flaws. They truly were a labor of love.
Flaws: minor glaze imperfections- mostly on the sides towards the back, slightly visible seam line on front.
